Going through the archives of deja.com I have found the first posts of quite a few people. So here I shal display and rank the newbies of renown. Ratings are assigned as such, A (very good) B (Good) C (Reasonable) D (Pathetic) Special Ratings I (Incomprehensible) W (Weird/WTF) T (Troll-like) Lets rock. Starting with the latest entry to our secret society: Raynor RavCav First Post: "Hi. Well, first off, I'm an Newbie (wait, wait, don't go to another post yet, please!). I also want to tell you that I've been reading your fanfic archive a lot, and have been reading the NG for a little while, I know about Paul Jauques and HWNMNBS and Graham Kennedy, and I'm also a HUGE fan of Mike Wong and Curtis Saxton (and as you can tell, I'm a Warsie he he he). I'm also aware of the fact that all of the basic stuff, like Stormtrooper vs. Redshirt, pahser vs. blaster ect, have all been pretty much been beaten to death. Well, fellow Warsies, I hope I win your approval. Oh and if it helps, Voyager sucks ass:P" This newbie made a good subtle entrance just this morning, he had not only gone through a period of lurking, but had actually read the FAQ *AND* the FanFic Archive. His initial post not only combined great knowledge and understanding of the groups politics and mechanics but also abused Voyager and praised Wong. I reckon he'll go well in here . . . Rating: A ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Now this one stuck in my memory for quite a while, his first post was brief and straight to the point: El Kabong First (and last) Post: "KABONG!" Now wasn't that fun kiddies, I have no idea what he was or where he went but that short post was one of the most interesting I've ever seen on ASVS. However I've looked at his background and he certainly seems to have a bit of a troll-like influence on other places. But that doesn't concern us, he made one post and vanished into the night.
